Have you tried this Maybelline Watershine Pure Natural Water lip color? My mom gave me this Maybelline Watershine Lip color and I want to share my experience wearing this lipstick.
Here in the Philippines, this lipstick only has limited shades. I browsed the net to check for other shades and there are a lot more in other countries.
I got the shade of B24. As you can see from the first picture below, the shade of B24 is near baby pink and it really has sheer coverage when you apply on your lips.
What I like about this lip color:
- packaging is cute: sleek metallic light blue packaging
- there is expiration date at the bottom on the package (lipstick tube)
- easy application :)
- lightweight and non - sticky
- glossy finish ( no need for lip gloss)
- If you are not tight on budget you can say the price is affordable.
- available in all leading beauty store nationwide
What I don't like about this lip color:
- very sheer coverage. It is like you are not wearing any color on your lips.
- easily transferred (When you accidentally touched your lips, or drink, or even just simply talking. The next thing you will notice is just a little shine)
- absolutely low staying power (last about 2-4 hrs)
Will I repurchase it?
Answer is 'No'.
The SRP of this lipstick is Php 345 and I think it is kinda pricey for me.
I do like sheer lipstick but I am expecting the color to last a bit longer though the glossy finish is a plus for me.
I will try other shade, most probably darker shades, hoping the result will be a little different.
